Black Schorl Tourmaline Cluster with Star Mica, Fluorescent Apatite & Feldspar
Black (Schorl) Tourmaline crystals with nice terminations nestled in feldspar matrix, with muscovite mica (many in star formations) and fluorescent apatite crystals.
The apatite is difficult to see until 365nm long wave UV is shined upon the specimen. 365nm long wave UV results in pale orange / pink, and 254nm short wave UV produces bright yellow.
Please note that a quality, filtered UV lamp is needed for best results.
The bottom and sides are trimmed.
