Scalenohedral Dog Tooth Calcite Cluster with Orange Fluorescent Inclusions and Late Stage Phosphorescent Deposits
Scalenohedral yellow “Dogtooth” calcite cluster with orange, fluorescent inclusions. There is purple and gray fluorite at the core of the cluster. The terminations are sharp with very few damaged tips.
A late-stage phosphorescent mineral is on the surface between some calcite crystals.
Fluorescent orange inclusions with 365nm long wave UV. You will need a filtered 365nm long wave UV lamp for best results. A cheap black light will not be effective on this piece.
We do carry a good quality, inexpensive 365nm long wave UV lamp that is filtered.
