With 254nm short wave UV, it fluoresces a vibrant green. A good quality, filtered, short wave lamp is needed for best results. (inexpensive multi-function UV lamps will not yield good results)
If you have a 365nm long wave lamp, you will see white and blue fluorescence that is not as bright as short wave.
